对一次旅行——一次沿公路穿越亚洲大陆过程的记录，从伊斯坦布尔到上海，不同的国度，不同的面孔。作为统一体的肖像集收录了四十余张影像。四十余位并不起眼的老者，拍摄方式几乎一样。他们与摄影师的这种熟稔自然归功于双方的交流，以及时常达成的默契……一张张老者的面孔，总是或多或少地讲述着一段故事。
